Finally! A Podcast All About Kids' Sleep Issues

Published 3 months ago • 1 min read

I’m excited to announce the launch of my new podcast, The Sleep Edit, co-hosted with my friend Arielle Greenleaf, a noted sleep consultant. In this podcast, we'll explore common sleep issues affecting children of all ages, helping both kids and parents achieve better sleep.

Our first episode, now available, tackles the perpetually tricky topic of getting children to sleep through the night. Since it's such an expansive issue, we've split the episode into two parts.

This episode covers

• The impact of night awakenings

• Causes of early evening awakenings in infants

• How independent sleep at bedtime can address night wakings

• How developmental milestones can cause “sleep regressions”

• Effects of travel and illness on sleep

• Medical causes of nighttime awakenings

You can listen to Episode 1 here (complete with show notes, transcript, and video option). Please subscribe on your preferred podcast platform - it really supports us as a new show!

Upcoming episodes will tackle cry-it-out sleep training, common sleep myths, stranger anxiety, and the efficacy of supplements like melatonin and magnesium.

As a new podcaster, I welcome any feedback and ideas for future shows. Please reach out with your thoughts!

Thanks,

Craig

In this episode we cover: The natural evolution of sleep in the first three months of life The period of PURPLE crying Safe sleep How modern sleep technology can help or hurt...
