New podcast episode - Stop the night wakings part 2

Published 3 months ago • 1 min read

In this information-packed episode of The Sleep Edit podcast, I spoke with my good friend and sleep consultant Arielle Greenleaf to tackle one of the most common pediatric sleep challenges - night wakings. There was so much to cover this is actually the second part of our series on this topic. As a pediatric sleep specialist and author, I see many tired parents struggling with frequent overnight awakenings, early morning rises, and losing sleep themselves trying to soothe their kids back to sleep.

Arielle and I covered all aspects of night wakings including:

  • *Guidelines on necessary vs unnecessary night feeds by age Medical problems that disrupt sleep
  • Night fears and night terrors
  • Environmental sleepproblems
  • Sensory issues
  • “Too much time in bed syndrome”

I loved digging into the nitty gritty of night wakings with Arielle and helping provide clarity and solutions on this challenging issue. Check it out here. Let me know what you thought of this latest Sleep Edit episode and send any other sleep questions my way!

Thanks

In this episode we cover: The natural evolution of sleep in the first three months of life The period of PURPLE crying Safe sleep How modern sleep technology can help or hurt...
